Our next meeting will be a daytime picnic in the park.
When: Saturday, July 19, 2008. From 12 Nooon to 4:30 PM.

Activities:
There will be no formal program. This is a potluck picnic. As we get closer to the meeting, we can figure out the details for food & drinks.
We'll socialize and talk fish as usual and we'll have an auction around 3pm.

The park hours are from 10 am to 4:30 pm, hence the reason for us to meet earlier.
Sulfur creek only reserves picnic areas for birthday parties that include animal
programs, so we won't be able to have reserved tables.
We'll have to show up early and grab the non-reserved tables. The naturalist
who talked to Doug said that we should send somebody down to look at the site and
determine what we should bring along, but there should be plenty of room for us,
but on a non-reserved area.
Doug also suggested that we should plan to bring our own barbecue grill just in
case there is not one available. (I'm planning to bring pre-cooked foods myself)
We can also bring a few of our own tables and chairs, or just big blankets that
we can sit on.
If someone local to the East Bay can check out the site before July 19th, it'd
be great.
