Title : Southwest Area Killifish Event 2011 (click here for details) (Category : General)
Date : 2011 March 12 Saturday
The 13th annual Southwest Area Killifish Event (SAKE) will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2011.
There will be a focus on both killifishes and livebearers this year. Additionally, we expect an excellent selection of aquatic plants to be available again this year. There is no registration fee to attend SAKE as the event is funded by a gigantic raffle, a silent auction, and a regular auction. To be successful, we rely upon both your contributions of aquarium fishes, aquatic plants, and live foods, and your participation in the raffle and auctions.
SPEAKERS will be:
* John Boylan: "Panama 2009, Old Friends and New Fishes"
* Allen Wood (2011 Chairman of the American Livebearer Association): "A Fishroom for Livebearers or Evolution of a Fishroom"
* Allan Semeit: "Killifishes from western Africa - Senegal to the Congo"
LOCATION:
Ramada Plaza Hotel Phoenix at Metro Center
12027 North 28th Drive
Cactus Road/I-17 Exit 209
Phoenix, AZ 85029
REGISTER NOW:
